Voicemail-to-Email and Transcription

Voicemail-to-email is included on every PJL plan. When a caller leaves a voicemail, you receive an email containing:

  • The caller's number and CNAM (caller ID name) if available
  • The date and time the message was left
  • An audio attachment of the message
  • A text transcription of the message body (automatic)

Transcription is accurate for most clear English-language calls. Background noise, accents, and very fast speech reduce accuracy — always check the audio for important messages.

Where messages go

Each extension has its own mailbox and email address for delivery. You can add additional notification addresses (e.g. a manager's inbox or a shared support email). Contact us to change notification addresses.
